Party City

Situation: Party City’s social media was lackluster and highly promotional in nature. Sandy was brought onboard to bring the team in-house and to build the foundation and processes for content creation, community management/engagement and social servicing. 

Action: Together, with a small in-house team and an influencer agency, Sandy led the strategic development of social media campaigns and activations across strategy content production, social governance, playbook, amplification, social listening, analysis, UGC, and community management to align with business goals and best practices.

Result: Facebook reach grew by 100%, shares by 30% and link clicks by 50% exceeding projections. Instagram post engagement improved by 9.23% YOY on average.

 
 

Valentine’s Day Campaign “The New Dozen”

Sandy imagined a twist on the Valentine’s Day balloon bouquet gifting experience. Anyone can give a dozen roses but gifting a heart balloon bouquet at a fraction of the cost is a party! This campaign inspired viewers on creative ways to use a balloon bouquet from a classroom party to breakfast in bed with Mom. Each idea was featured in a blog post and shared out via social channels. The result was 20 posts in one month that generated over 14,000 impressions.
